Terms of Service

By accessing or using Kyvernitikos, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Kyvernitikos. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and for keeping your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have provided false information or that have been compromised.

Kyvernitikos offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then.

EU 14-day withdrawal right: Under EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. However, by choosing immediate access to our digital content (quiz practice, analytics), you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and you acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal once service delivery has commenced.

Refunds outside the withdrawal period are issued at our sole discretion. We do not generally offer pro-rata refunds for unused subscription periods.

All prices are inclusive of applicable VAT.

You agree to use Kyvernitikos only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the platform by any automated means.

Copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or otherwise share platform content (including quiz questions and explanations) with third parties.

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the platform's source code or question bank.

Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service or interfere with other users.

Violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of the platform.

All content on the Kyvernitikos platform — including but not limited to quiz questions, explanations, study materials, software, design, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Kyvernitikos and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform content solely for your personal, non-commercial study purposes. No other rights are granted.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any platform content without our prior written permission.

Kyvernitikos is an independent study tool designed to help you practise reasoning skills. We make no guarantee that use of our platform will result in passing any particular exam.

Our question bank is created and reviewed by our team; however, we do not guarantee that all content is error-free or that it reflects the precise format or difficulty of any official examination.

Kyvernitikos is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any exam body, employer, or public authority.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kyvernitikos and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Kyvernitikos in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, except that EU consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of habitual residence.

For EU consumers, the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) is also available as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform and may close your account.
